DESCRIPTION:Let's snack and chat! We want to invite you to collectively ref
 lect the relationship between activism and academic research with us. \n\n
 As hegemonic and intersectionally discriminatory institutions\, universiti
 es re-produce global structures of domination and oppression. And regularl
 y\, insights from activism inspire academia rather than vice versa. Still\
 , research is a relevant module to understand and meaningfully participate
  in the world around us. But the line between research and activism become
 s blurred anyway. Activists are researchers and researchers are activists\
 , participating in both worlds\, oftentimes trying to bring them together.
  Here\, long-term research projects that illuminate specific processes in-
 depth tend to collide with the rather short-term struggles of activism tha
 t need immediate responses to current issues. Therefore\, we want to elabo
 rate with you: (How) Can academic research and activism in SAR interact in
  solidarity?\n\nIn our own roles as researchers and activists\, we appreci
 ate both forms of working and knowledge-producing and are well aware of ch
 allenges and difficulties. Together with you\, we want to discuss all thes
 e challenges and difficulties - but also work out and underline potentials
 ! \n\nWe organized a workshop like this already at the SAR-Camp in Septemb
 er in Biesenthal. We invite people to newly join in and to follow-up. If y
 ou like to\, bring some snacks or your breakfast\, lunch\, dinner\, ... Th
 e format is meant to be low-key and comfortable!
